Lessons from Dad

At the gym today, I looked across the room at the mirror and literally saw my dad looking back at me. Well, not literally, but it was surreal. Not sure when the transformation happened or, because it’s Father’s Day, if it was just today. My dad was an idea guy but horrible at execution. He passed on two lessons (one was intentional).

1) Unintentional - Ideas are amazing and wonderful. However, without execution and follow through, they stay amazing and wonderful ideas.

2) Intentional – if you care about someone, tell them. Celebrate every win and lead with encouragement.

All props to my dad for teaching me both and I promise to work on each until I can’t anymore.

Happy Father’s Day!
